125th Anniversary Celebration Fun Run/Walk
to benefit SPAVA, a nonprofit organization
that teaches nonviolence, anger management,
and conflict resolution to school children.

The Fun Run/Walk begins and ends at
Springdale Presbyterian Church,
7812 Brownsboro Road, Louisville, KY

WHEN IS IT?
Saturday, May 17. Rain or shine.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
The 5K Fun Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Individual before May 1: $15
Individual after May 1: $25
Family registration before May 1: $30

WHERE DO I PARK?
Parking spaces are available at Springdale.

Checks should be payable to SPAVA.
All proceeds will be used to benefit children
through SPAVA’s educational programs
and outreach. No refunds.


The 5K Fun Run/Walk begins and ends at
Springdale Presbyterian Church and winds
through the City of Barbourmeade.
The map below shows the route in red and black.

The City of Barbourmeade Police will assist
with safety and road crossings.
SPAVA will provide water stations
and refreshments.

SPAVA
The Society for the Prevention of
Aggressiveness and Violence among
Adolescents (SPAVA) is a nonprofit
organization (501C-3) devoted to help
teaching children and youth a nonviolent
approach to life. Community volunteers
mentor children in the Jefferson County
Public Schools as well as the private
and parochial school system. Students
learn skills to control anger and
aggression through negotiation. Mentors
teach respect, honor, integrity, resilience,
and perseverance with challenges. For
